How To Fold A Hockey Jersey? [Expert Guide!]

Sharing is Caring

Hockey is one of the most popular sports around the world, especially in Canada and the US. Many people are passionate about hockey and keep up with the latest news, scores, and stats. One thing they might not do, however, is actually fold their hockey jerseys. Find out how you can make the most of your fandom and start folding your jerseys!

First Step

The first step is to take your hockey jersey and lay it flat on a table or board. You can even lay it on its back for better exposure.

Second Step

After you’ve laid your jersey flat, take a small strip of fabric and fold it over the top of the shirt. This is called a collar. Next, take the bottom of the shirt and fold it over the top of the collar. You should now have a flat collar and a double-folded bottom. Finally, turn the shirt inside out and press it firmly along the back and down the front. This will help create a box-like shape for the hockey jersey.

Third Step

Now, take your time and fold each of the four bottom corners up and over the edge of the table. You should have four perfectly upright โ€œpetalsโ€ on the table. With the collar and bottom of the shirt folded, this is what your jersey will look like when it’s finished.

Fourth Step

The final step is to take a small piece of paper and draw a design on it that you want on your shirt. You can use the template below as a guide.

This template will help you draw four perfect, equal petals. Once you’ve drawn the template, you can simply follow the same steps to create four identical folded hockey jerseys.
